Mr. Kirby, Director Emeritus, served on Usio’s board of directors from 2001 until his retirement in 2016. His leadership was instrumental in establishing the Company’s audit committee and other key governance structures, particularly in preparation for Usio’s uplisting to Nasdaq in 2015. Over the years, he contributed to the Company’s audit, nomination and governance, and compensation committees. He distinguished himself in professional and community activities in a career that spanned 35 years. He was an accomplished public speaker and has provided consultative services to Fortune 100 firms. His expertise in the fields of management, decision making, and human resources was recognized by the numerous times his work has been published. He was a director on many universities’ advisory councils and boards. He served as chairman of the board of directors of the Quatsino Economic Development Corporation while living in Canada. Peter retired as a tenured professor of management at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.
