Julie Villarreal joined Usio in 2018 where she started in an administrative role, however quickly learned the world of payments.  When the need for increased support and service on the Payfac side was identified, Julie was given an opportunity to move into a leadership role to shape and mold a team to provide a level of excellence to our partners and customers.  Through Julie’s perseverance and dedication, vast improvements were made and a team that delivers white glove service and support was created.  These efforts rapidly earned Julie additional responsibilities of overseeing the function of sales and service operations earning her the title of Vice President of Payments Acceptance.

Julie came to Usio with a Bachelor of Arts – Psychology from the University of Texas- San Antonio. Prior to joining Usio, she worked in the Judson and NEISD school districts assisting with reading programs for students. Julie is very passionate about helping children grow and develop.  She also enjoys organizing fundraising and charity events around the holidays.
