Partner Success Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
Objectives
• To provide white glove service to our most financially valued clients.
• Build a strong relationship with the premier clients.
• Track and understand the financial impacts to Usio for the program(s) for revenue and profitability.
• Track and understand the client’s objectives for growth to exceed forecasts.
• Develop and proactively manage the client’s account plans to achieve client and Usio goals.
• Assist with responding to support tickets.
• Continuously work on process improvements. Responsibilities.
• Reports to Vice President, Card Issuing Product & Operations.
• Gather and maintain all the program and financial information about the assigned clients: – Contracts, Contacts, Invoices, Tracking log, Account Plan.
• Develop and execute a quarterly Account Plan.
• Schedule, plan and perform Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with assigned Client Partners.
• Build relationships with assigned customers, help them with issues, and continually delights them with a positive, customer-centric attitude.
• Provide proactive strategy with assigned customer accounts.
• Work with customers to ensure they are leveraging effectively and finding value in our services.
• Effectively handle Client follow up tasks and resolution of client issues.
• Efficiently manage time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer satisfaction, account renewal, and account growth.
• Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes.
• Maintain and grow Client Partner revenue base by managing account retention and renewal.
• Work on initiatives to improve Client program profitability.
• Drive upgrade revenue through increased product adoption and increased usage.
• Manage accounts of all sizes by representing your team externally with clients and internally by working with direct reports and supporting positions.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the clients’ position in the market, their product/service, points of difference and competitive landscape.
• Manage client input and feedback for all projects with detailed direction and timelines.
• Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
• Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects.
• If necessary, visit clients and attend other relationship-building opportunities.
• Manage and coach the internal team on clients.
• Proactively remain connected to clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis.
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with project management or account management.
• Payments experience preferred.
• Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with client leaders of all levels (C-level down to entry level support roles).
• Ability to work independently and manage personal and team member time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong writing, phone and presentation skills.
