The executive team originally founded BillServ in 1998. In 2003, the assets were sold and the company was renamed to Payment Data Systems. In 2019, Payment Data Systems changed its name to Usio

Usio trades under the ticker symbol "USIO" on the Nasdaq Global Market.

Usio is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas and has offices in Nashville, Tennessee.

Usio's primary business is managing ACH and credit card payment processing. In addition to these services, the Company offers a variety of customizable prepaid solutions for businesses and consumers as well as electronic bill presentment and payment.
