SALES & OFFICE MANAGER

Usio are a Digital Transformation, UX and Service Design agency based in Borough in London. We are going through a period of high growth and need ongoing support.

We are seeking a Sales and Office Manager to help support the sales process and office administration for Usio. The successful candidate will be an outgoing dynamic individual with a minimum of 4-5 Years’ experience. This is a varied role within a small team and will suit an enthusiastic, multitasking, hardworking person with attention to detail.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES At USIO:

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with and assist the user experience team, in particular the Director. This can include any of the following:

• Have experience in setting up new sales and admin processes and the creation and coordination of the associated documents
• Ability to co-ordinate and manage a small team to ensure customer quotations are received and presented to given timescales.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to think on your feet to meet Sales Managers deadlines for tenders and quotes also a great telephone manner to deal with customers.
• Complete sales webinars to prospective clients about UX design
• Be comfortable speaking to prospects on the telephone
• Some financial knowledge especially as sense checking costing sheets for authorization is integral to the position.
• Answering the phone and relaying messages promptly
• Coordination activities to support the Director and team
• Managing the overall running of the office and internal processes
• On-boarding new clients
• Compiling reports in Microsoft Word
• Researching information and preparing presentations in Keynote
• Creating client invoices in Xero
• Preparing and coordinating on-site research activities

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have 4-5+ years proven experience in Senior Administration and Management preferably in a fast paced environment.
• Be passionate about digital and online and be familiar with User Experience Design and associated terminology.
• Highly motivated and self-managing
• You must have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom
• Clear, concise communication, presentation and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
• Happy to work in a small team
• Computer literate – very comfortable with use of the Internet, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Keynote/Powerpoint
• Ideally some knowledge of accounting system Xero (training can be supplied)
• Takes initiative and has Flexibility, adaptability and a “can do” attitude
• Some knowledge of WordPress and be able to add content to the website (training can be supplied)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Thirst for knowledge and learning
• Relaxed and humorous
• Organised and efficient
• Social media knowledge, especially Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Previous experience working within small businesses
• Ability to prioritise workloads
• Highly level of accuracy and attention to detail

HEAD OF UX/SERVICE DESIGN (PART TIME – 3 DAYS/WK)

Usio are a Digital Transformation, UX and Service Design agency based in Borough in London. We are going through a period of high growth and need ongoing support.

We are seeking a Head of UX or Senior UX designer part time 3 days a week on a permanent basis. We are moving away form using contractors where possible.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES At USIO:

Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with and assist the user experience team, in particular the Director. This can include any of the following:

  • Manage complete projects end to end
  • Be comfortable running client workshops without supervision
  • Have an eye for detail and not be happy with second best
  • Create user journeys, wireframes , mock-ups and prototypes for websites and apps
  • Visualise concepts and artwork in Sketch, Axure, Invision Utilise user research and business requirements to guide design decisions and develop products.
  • Conduct usability testing Develop your career working on a wide range of projects across multiple industries
  • Be adaptable to a changing environment and not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Have flexible working. You can work remotely at least 1 day/week when not with client

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have solid service design experience
  • Have an up-to-date portfolio of client-focused projects which include wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products
  • Demonstrate skills in interaction design, visual communication, design language, typography and layout for web, mobile, and apps
  • Have meticulous attention to design detail with the ability to produce clean, commercial design
  • Be an expert in design and prototyping software including Sketch, Invision, and Axure
  • Have at least 7 years experience in a commercial client side or agency environment
  • Have the ability to design workshops and new internal processes
  • Have some healthcare or pharma experience
  • Possess the tools to manage and develop other members of staff
  • Not make the client feel stupid 

Benefits:
